Can I break a contract if I believe that the services have not been provided to me?

I entered into a contract with this company to help me find a job. They implied that their tools and techniques would greatly improve my results and would lead to a higher paying job. I used their tools and techniques for 2 months during which time responses to my job applications declined to 0.
